Services

We are currently holding all sessions via telehealth, and are accepting new patients in Maryland and Washington, DC.

  • Integrative psychiatry means walking the middle path between Western medicine and holistic, complementary treatments. Your treatment may involve prescribing and monitoring psychotropic medications to help reduce painful psychological symptoms. The goal may be to discontinue medication once you’ve established reliable skills and support, or it may be indefinite depending on your situation. Whether you’ve taken medication in the past, recently started, or are hoping to discontinue, we will work together to come up with a plan that makes sense for you and eases the suffering you’re going through.

In addition to prescription medications, there are many complementary strategies we use to help patients feel like their best selves. We offer functional lab testing, nutraceuticals, plant-based medicines, and supplements. If you prefer a non-medication approach to treating mental health, or are just curious about what this might look like for you, we can provide you with evidence-informed recommendations on complementary treatments for mood, anxiety, substance use, and sleep disorders.

  • Our providers are trained in several evidence-based psychotherapy modalities and weave them into my practice, whether we’re doing medication management, integrative psychiatry, or working on lifestyle and habit change. We draw from mindfulness-based approaches and Buddhist psychology, mind-body interventions, CBT (cognitive-behavioral therapy), and have specialized training in trauma interventions such as EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), and EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques).

We offer a stigma-free environment where you can discuss the ways addictive substances or behaviors have impacted your life, and work to make meaningful change. There are many paths to recovery, and we’d be honored to help you along yours.

  • This length of time is best suited for you if you’re looking for standard psychiatric care, perhaps haven’t tried many medications in the past, and are generally healthy.

During this visit, we’ll spend time learning about you, hearing your story, and asking questions. we’ll want to know about what you’ve been struggling with, your health history, the important people in your life, your habits and routines, and what you’d like help with. We’ll create a plan for you, which might include lab tests, recommendations on nutrition, activity, sleep, psychotherapy, supplements, and medications. We might ask to talk with your primary care provider, with your therapist if you have one, or with other people who you may want to involve in your care. All coordination of care, records review, and documentation related to this initial consultation is included in the fee.

    $600

  • This length of assessment is recommended for individuals who have a complex psychiatric history, have tried many medications before that haven’t worked, or who are looking for help addressing the psychiatric effects of additional medical problems, such as long covid, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, or chronic pain.

Just like the 90 minute consultation, I’ll spend time learning about you, hearing your story, and asking questions. We’ll create a comprehensive integrative treatment plan for you, which can include lab tests, recommendations on nutrition, activity, sleep, psychotherapy, supplements, and medications. I will likely ask your permission to coordinate with your primary care provider, any specialists involved in your care, with your therapist, or with other people who you may want to involve in your care. All coordination of care and documentation related to this initial consultation is included in the fee.

    $800

This length of visit is best for focused concerns, or following up on medication or supplement management. If we are integrating psychotherapy into your treatment, a 45-minute session would be best suited for that.

Includes a minimum of 1-2 sessions and letter to your surgeon if appropriate. The fee covers all necessary sessions with us, any coordination with other providers we may need to do, and the 1-2 hours spent writing the assessment and letter of support.
