Psychiatric Care
When complexity isn’t a problem to solve—it’s where the truth lives.
OutPsych provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and ongoing care for people who don’t fit the mold. Our approach integrates evidence-based medicine, holistic modalities, and sociopolitical awareness to address the biological, psychological, and systemic factors shaping your mental health.
We specialize in treating mood and anxiety disorders, ADHD, trauma-related conditions, OCD, and the intersecting impacts of chronic illness, neurodivergence, and identity-based stress.
Our clinicians work with patients across Maryland, Massachusetts, Virginia, and Washington DC through secure telehealth.
We don’t believe in overmedicating or oversimplifying. Medication can be a useful tool—but it’s only one piece of the work. We collaborate closely with you to find the right balance between science and soul.

What to Expect
Comprehensive Evaluation: Each new patient begins with a 75–90 minute intake that explores not just symptoms, but history, environment, and meaning. We look for patterns and root causes, not just checklists.
Collaborative Treatment Planning: You’ll co-create a plan that may include medication management, psychotherapy integration, or coordination with your existing care team. We discuss all options transparently—consent and comfort guide the pace.
Ongoing Care: Follow-up appointments (30–50 minutes) provide space for reflection, adjustment, and integration. Sessions are relational, not transactional. We’re not here to simply refill prescriptions; we’re here to support your whole journey.
Liberation-Oriented Practice: We recognize how oppression, trauma, and identity shape mental health. Our providers are systems-aware clinicians who validate your experiences while helping you build freedom into your care.
